We see how the NumericUpDown extender adds "up" and "down" buttons to a standard ASP.NET TextBox control. The buttons allow the user to increment or decrement a number, cycle through a list of known values, or call a Web Service to retrieve the next value. In this way the developer can fully control the values the user may submit to a Web application.
