Visual Studio for Mac displays the following popup:

![HTTPS Development certificate not found. Do you want to install and trust the certificate?](~/getting-started/_static/trustCertMac6.png)

Select **Install and Trust** if you trust the development certificate.

The following dialog is displayed:

Enter your password and select **Update Settings**

Select **Yes** if you agree to trust the development certificate.
