## HttpUtility.JavaScriptStringEncode escapes ampersand

Starting with the .NET Framework 4.5,
<xref:System.Web.HttpUtility.JavaScriptStringEncode(System.String)?displayProperty=name>
escapes the ampersand (&amp;) character.

aspnet:JavaScriptDoNotEncodeAmpersand setting to the
